Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii👋🏽
I’m excited to write to you after a loooooong hiatus. Thanks for sticking around on my subscriber list. And now to the news…
I’ve always loved writing, which is why I started this blog. Initially, I wrote about the future of work in Africa. It was a fun experience. Now I’m taking it further, but on a different course. I have been in the user experience (UX) field as a writer and designer for more than two years now, and I am more convinced to share my thoughts and experiences.
Beyond conviction, I also started this blog so I can put an African perspective on whatever I write. Many narratives out there are predominantly Western, which is not bad but is not robust. To have Africans write about their journey is the best. And that’s what I’ll be doing.
I’ll share with you the ins and outs of being a Nigerian UX writer. Specifically, I’ll be writing about lifestyle, hands-on UX writing sessions, scenario/case studies, working in content, and managing content, all from my experience working in the Nigerian UX space.
I’m nervous and excited at the same time because I’ve always struggled with imposter syndrome (I’ll share more about this in my next post). I’m going to start anyway, and I hope you’ll tag along with me on this journey.
So, see you around. Thankssssssss🤗
